At Clearmatics, we are dedicated to building decentralized financial market infrastructures that are more efficient, open, and resilient than the legacy systems currently in place. Since our founding in 2015, we have remained committed to open source development and active participation in the blockchain research community. We are currently seeking a Core Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. This mid-level role is hybrid and open to candidates located anywhere, as we work to make important risk factors tradable for everyone without the need for financial intermediaries. You will play a vital role in our Layer 1 Engineering team, specifically focusing on the Autonity project, which is an EVM-based public blockchain designed for decentralized derivatives clearing.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new protocol features using Go and Solidity.
- Create and maintain robust distributed systems tests and frameworks to ensure network integrity.
- Collaborate on the creation of protocol and design specifications while working with our community to address technical challenges.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- At least two years of professional experience programming in Go, or comparable experience in a low-level language like Rust or C++.
- Proven expertise in network, concurrent, and distributed programming within Linux environments.
- A solid understanding of Ethereum protocols, P2P messaging, and consensus mechanisms like BFT and dPoS.
- Strong communication skills in English, both for documentation and team collaboration.
