We are currently looking for a dedicated Contracts and Claims Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in India. Our organization specializes in complex construction projects, and we require an expert to oversee our contractual obligations and claims processes across the APAC region for both upstream and downstream operations. You will play a vital role in protecting our interests and ensuring that our project delivery remains efficient and legally sound.
Key outcomes
- Manage the full lifecycle of contracts and claims for upstream and downstream projects.
- Oversee the administration of Change Orders, including variations and changes in scope.
- Perform detailed delay analysis and manage extensions of time.
- Handle complex claims related to changes in law and project costs.
- Ensure all contractual processes align with standard industry practices.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience specifically in contract administration and claims management.
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering, or a degree in Contracts Management from a reputable university.
- Comprehensive knowledge of EPC construction contracts.
- Proven experience working with FIDIC, NEC, and other standard forms of contract.
- Professional proficiency in the English language.
Preferred qualifications
- An advanced degree in a relevant field is highly desirable.
