Contract IT Generalist at Blink

We are Blink UX, a design consulting firm dedicated to building products that people truly love and remember. With over twenty years of experience, we partner with industry leaders like NASA, Meta, Google, and Amazon to deliver impactful research, strategy, and design. We are currently looking for a Contract IT Generalist to join our team at our Seattle studio for a five-month engagement. What you'll be doing

• You will provide essential onsite support at our Seattle studio while also managing remote support tickets for our employees across the United States.
• You will oversee the technology within our UX research lab, which includes configuring streaming setups and managing hardware and software needs for specific research studies.
• You will take ownership of our technical documentation by creating and updating clear, actionable how-to guides and process documents for the team.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable working in a hybrid environment and possess the following qualifications:

• At least one year of experience in helpdesk support, network administration, or event production.
• Deep familiarity with macOS and a solid functional understanding of Windows administration.
• Proficiency with remote support tools such as RDP, RemotePC, and Chrome Remote Desktop.
• Experience with web-based productivity suites including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Zoom, Box, and Slack.
• Technical knowledge of A/V systems, specifically IP-based video technologies like NDI and video streaming software such as OBS.
• Strong communication skills and the patience to assist users of all technical backgrounds.
• Fluency in English.
