About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Contingent Workforce Specialist to join us on a contractor basis. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our contingent workforce program, specifically supporting our Fleet Operations department. You will work cross-functionally with our finance, IT, and procurement teams while maintaining daily contact with managers, contingent workers, and our external supplier partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of contingent workers, ensuring that all data is tracked accurately and promptly within our systems.
- Coordinate with supplier partners to source talent, vet resumes, facilitate interview scheduling, and manage the negotiation and extension of offers.
- Guide managers through the onboarding and off-boarding process for non-employees while providing ongoing training on program policies and best practices.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience working as an MSP program specialist or as an Account Manager/Recruiter within a staffing agency.
- A deep understanding of contingent workforce compliance, risk strategies, and industry best practices.
- Extensive operational experience using a VMS.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bonus points if you have experience in high-volume or light industrial recruiting, basic financial analysis skills, or proficiency with Google Sheets.
Location
This is a hybrid role. You will be expected to work from our headquarters in Foster City, California, three days per week.
Compensation and Benefits
This position is a contract role, with employment managed through a vendor partnered with Zoox. The pay range for this role is $50 to $65 per hour. You will also have access to a hybrid work environment and a benefits package provided by the vendor.
