- Researches and develops technical materials in a variety of formats - e.g. user tips, blog posts, whitepaper, webinar presentation, and other
- Collaborates with Subject-Matter-Experts to establish technically accurate inputs and applies creative story-telling skills to convey key messages, with attention to SEO.
- Plans content for each stage of the marketing funnel and customer journey, and for appropriate target personas.
- Maintains organised records of all materials, drafts, and previous versions
- Reviews and curates existing content assets, makes recommendations to inform content strategy, and maintains evergreen content
- Follows and maintains established style of content guidelines across platforms and media
- Works efficiently and accurately in content management systems, adhering to best practices and standards for terminology and content management
- Collect and assess analytics insights to inform strategic decisions
- Identify opportunities to improve content development processes
- Ensures deliverables are published on schedule
The Candidate:
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years relevant technical writing experience, preferably software or telecommunications industry
- Working knowledge of content creation tools - word processing, presentation, image management, etc., and familiarity with content management systems and marketing automation tools.
- Demonstrates ability to quickly learn and apply new tools, processes, and standards
- Ability to explain technical concepts to audiences that have varying degrees of technical ability
- Strong time management skills and an ability to take accountability for completing projects
- Ability to absorb and retain information quickly, specifically complex technical information
- Ability to analyse target audience and to present ideas in user-friendly language
- Interest in telecommunications, VoIP, WebRTC, and voice-bots is an advantage
