Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Content Development Manager to join us on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in Edinburgh, where you will balance remote work with in-office collaboration to drive our content strategy forward.
Your impact
- Source and evaluate new historical record collections from around the globe to expand our digital archives.
- Manage the full lifecycle of content projects by using specialized tools to track progress and deliver results on time.
- Enhance data quality by creating and standardizing detailed metadata, ensuring our search functionality remains the best in the industry.
What you'll need
We are looking for someone who combines a sharp analytical mind with a deep appreciation for historical data. You should have the following qualifications and skills:
- A degree in History, Genealogy, Information Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in archival research, content acquisition, or metadata management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with project management workflows.
- Exceptional research and communication skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with partners.
- A talent for problem-solving and a meticulous eye for detail when handling complex datasets.
- Fluency in English, with additional European languages considered a significant advantage.
