Consumables Quality Manager at PAX Labs

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Consumables Quality Manager to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This role is vital to our mission, as you will oversee the quality control programs for our consumable product lines while collaborating with our production partners across the country.

Key outcomes

• Direct the quality assurance and control programs for our consumable lines, working across more than five states and with over ten production partners.
• Lead the creation and management of all operational documentation, including technical writing, Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, and batch records within our Quality Management System.
• Partner with our IT department to maintain and enhance the effectiveness of our Quality Management System.
• Train and mentor partner operators on our established procedures and documentation for all new processes and products.
• Monitor partner compliance with operational standards and identify any potential or chronic quality issues.
• Execute root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformance events, ensuring findings are implemented effectively.
• Provide regular updates and strategic priorities to our leadership and operations teams.

Requirements

• An undergraduate degree.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance and control programs.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• A results-driven mindset with strong project and time management abilities.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and iterative work environment.
• Proficiency in presenting information and interacting confidently with senior management.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience working with a Quality Management System.
• Direct experience within the cannabis industry or a background in consumer packaged goods.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $120,000 per year, supplemented by equity compensation. Final salary offers are determined based on an individual's depth of experience, skill level, and location. In addition to this, we offer the flexibility of a remote work environment. Please note that while this role is remote, it requires routine travel to locations including California, Colorado, Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey.
