The role

We are seeking a Junior Consultant to join our Connectivity Consulting team on a full-time, on-site basis in India. This is a vital position for someone looking to launch their career within a dynamic financial services environment. You will serve as the primary point of contact for counterparties, vendors, and clients, ensuring the seamless transmission of data into our platform. This role is essential to our operations, as you will facilitate the data availability required for critical workflows like trade accounting, collateral management, and reconciliations.

Core responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between clients, custodians, and prime brokers to establish and maintain systematic data workflows on our platform.
• Analyze and interpret complex financial data to establish reconciliation logic for cash, positions, trades, and margin statements, while proactively resolving any identified variances.
• Manage client mandates by addressing inquiries in a timely manner and identifying opportunities to improve existing business processes and workflows.

Skills and experience

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a financial discipline, ideally paired with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in financial services.
• Strong domain knowledge, specifically regarding middle and back-office trade lifecycles.
• Technical proficiency, with a preference for candidates who have experience using Python or other programming languages.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• The ability to multitask and deliver high-quality work while meeting stringent deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
