Dandelion Energy is on a mission to change the way homes are heated and cooled by tapping into the power of the earth. As the nation’s leading residential geothermal company, we design and install systems that are significantly more efficient than traditional HVAC setups. We are backed by top investors like Google Ventures and are currently scaling our operations to meet the needs of both individual homeowners and major national homebuilders. We are looking for passionate people to join our team as we work to make geothermal energy the standard for heating and cooling across the United States.
What is this role?
We are looking for a mid-level Construction Project Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will take ownership of large residential developments, ranging from single-family homes to multi-family projects. You will guide these projects from the initial pre-construction engineering phase all the way through to final quality assurance, ensuring that every build meets our high standards for schedule, budget, and performance. This position reports directly to the VP of New Construction and offers a great opportunity to help shape our internal processes as we grow.
What will you do?
- Lead the pre-construction process by managing design work, value engineering, and logistical planning.
- Oversee daily project execution, which includes maintaining budgets, managing resources, ensuring safety compliance, and performing quality control.
- Manage relationships with our subcontractors to ensure they deliver high-quality work on time while fostering a collaborative environment.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed here, you should be a proactive leader with a strong background in construction and a desire to improve how we work. We value candidates who are comfortable with financial oversight and have the communication skills needed to coordinate complex projects. You should be fluent in English and possess the following qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Between 1 and 4 years of professional project management experience within the construction industry, specifically with residential developments.
- A solid grasp of building codes, industry regulations, and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and various project management software tools, with bonus points if you have experience using Salesforce.
- The ability and willingness to travel up to 40% of the time for site visits and project meetings.
What's in it for you?
We offer a base salary range of $110,000 to $150,000, along with an equity component as part of your total compensation package. Beyond the salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
- A 401(k) retirement plan.
- Commuter benefits to help with your travel needs.
- Generous paid time off and maternity or paternity leave.
- A dedicated learning budget to support your professional development.
