About the Role
We are seeking a Construction and Field Project Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This mid-level role is essential to our operations, as you will lead technical and construction projects from initiation to completion. You will serve as a primary point of contact for field operations, ensuring that our on-site activities align with our high organizational standards. Please note that this position requires significant travel, exceeding 50 percent of your time, primarily throughout the Mid-West region.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the on-site field operations manager to oversee daily activities, coordinate technician performance, and ensure full compliance with project requirements.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans that effectively manage scope, timelines, and budgets while proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Facilitate project hand-off meetings to verify that all quoted products and specifications are accurate, complete, and ready for successful implementation.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should bring a strong background in technical or construction project management. We look for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Three to five years of experience in project management or coordination, specifically within technical or construction environments.
- A PMP Certification is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage field operations, including the supervision of technicians and subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of high and low voltage electricity, basic IT networking, and telecommunications, including TCP/IP and VoIP.
- The ability to read architectural drawings and conduct detailed compliance audits.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a valid US driver's license.
Location
This position is based in the United States, with extensive travel required to project sites throughout the Mid-West region.
