Role at a glance
We are hiring a Senior COMSEC Manager for a full-time, on-site position based in Fort Meade, MD. This role requires an active Top Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship to support our high-stakes operational environments.
Your impact
- You will oversee the installation and configuration of crypto hardware, ensuring that any technical issues are resolved quickly to keep our systems online.
- You will manage the lifecycle of keying materials and crypto devices, maintaining strict accountability and ensuring we are always audit-ready.
- You will act as the primary subject matter expert, training stakeholders and ensuring full compliance with all security policies and procedures.
What you'll need
- An active, in-scope Top Secret security clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- An 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as Sec+ CE.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in COMSEC or information security, ideally supported by a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- A solid grasp of crypto devices, network transport hardware like routers and switches, and general information security practices.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with customers and teammates in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing mission requirements.
- Bonus points if you hold additional certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP.
