We are looking for a talented engineer to join us in making a tangible impact on the gaming community by enhancing how our vast library of content is processed and discovered.
About the Role
We are searching for a Senior Computer Vision Video ML Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will focus on embedding our massive database of gaming clips to make them more contextualized within our product. You will also use automated annotations and computer vision to build rich context around these videos, which will directly improve our search functionality, recommendation systems, and future automated video editing features.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced computer vision models to augment video embeddings and provide deeper context for our library of gaming clips.
- Collaborate with the product team to integrate your work into our search and recommendation systems, ensuring a seamless experience for our users.
- Take full ownership of feature development from end to end, ensuring high code performance and rigorous quality standards in a production environment.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have a strong background in machine learning and a passion for gaming. We require the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of professional experience in video machine learning, specifically with image embedding and computer vision.
- Experience with our core ML stack, including GCP, BigQuery, OpenCV, PyTorch, Kubeflow, and Airflow.
- A proven track record of measuring feature success through A/B testing and usage metrics.
- Strong proficiency in code performance and an understanding of how to optimize features for production.
- A genuine passion for gaming and familiarity with platforms like Discord.
- Bonus points for experience with generative AI or high-throughput video inference and feature extraction.
Location
This is an on-site position based in New York City. We value the collaboration that happens when we work together, so you will be expected to be in the office at least 3 days per week.
Compensation and Benefits
We are committed to building a high-performing team and invite you to apply by submitting your resume, a link to your GitHub, your LinkedIn profile, and a portfolio or description of apps you have previously released. We look forward to reviewing your experience and seeing how your skills in C#, Electron, React, and Redux might help us continue to innovate for our gaming community.
