Are you ready to help us bring intelligence to the world’s fleet of trucks and make our roads safer for everyone? At Motive, we empower those who run physical operations by providing tools that improve safety, productivity, and profitability. Our platform serves over 120,000 customers, ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 enterprises, by integrating AI to provide complete visibility into vehicles, equipment, and drivers. We invite you to join our mission-driven team as we continue to automate complex tasks and transform the transportation and logistics industry.
What you bring
As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer working in a full-time, remote capacity from anywhere, you will join a high-caliber team of researchers and engineers. You will focus on designing and implementing sophisticated computer vision systems that analyze driving behavior and identify risk factors in real time. Your work will directly impact millions of vehicles by turning research prototypes into reliable, production-ready features. Your core responsibilities include:
- Optimizing computer vision and machine learning algorithms to ensure high performance on our embedded AI dashcam platforms.
- Developing and refining production models using Python and C++ to support training, model compression, and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborating across our research, embedded, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end product features that solve complex object detection and segmentation challenges.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a solid mathematical foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and optimization. We are looking for candidates with at least three years of experience in algorithm development, or those with a Master’s degree and two years of relevant experience. We also welcome applications from fresh PhD graduates. You must be proficient in Python or C++ and have hands-on experience with training frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Caffe. Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes is highly valued. Because our technology is subject to export regulations, you must be authorized to access controlled commodities and technologies under U.S. law. We value candidates who are collaborative, technically rigorous, and passionate about solving real-world problems.
What we offer
We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where people from all backgrounds can thrive. We believe in providing our team with the flexibility they need to produce their best work.
- Remote work flexibility.
How to Apply
If you are excited about the prospect of building technology that improves safety for millions of drivers, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application to join our team and help us shape the future of physical operations.
