What is this role?
We are looking for a Junior Computer Systems Architect to join us on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility of telecommuting from anywhere within the United States. You will play a vital role in shaping our technical vision and ensuring our systems remain secure, stable, and highly performant.
What will you do?
- Define the overarching architectural strategy for our computer systems to ensure they meet our long-term business goals.
- Create scalable, high-performing technical solutions that improve the overall security and interoperability of our platform.
- Provide expert guidance to our software engineers and developers to ensure seamless system integration and adherence to our technical standards.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this position, you should have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with one year of relevant experience. Alternatively, we accept candidates with four additional years of professional experience as a software engineer or architect. You should be fluent in English and possess specific technical expertise, including:
- Experience designing high-load systems and asynchronous architectures with high fault tolerance.
- Proficiency in architecting data-intensive applications and implementing actuarial models.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Kubernetes for designing fault-tolerant applications.
- Strong skills in optimizing SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as performance tuning for RabbitMQ and Kafka.
- A solid understanding of AWS design and security principles.
- Experience with Micro Frontends and Virtual UI rendering.
