We are looking for a Computer Systems Architect to join our team and help shape the technical vision of our platform. CyberCube Analytics is a leader in the cyber risk modeling space, providing data-driven insights that help the insurance industry quantify and manage digital threats.
Responsibilities
- Define the overarching architectural strategy and vision for our computer systems.
- Build scalable, high-performance solutions that enhance the security, stability, and interoperability of our infrastructure.
- Select the right technical tools, software standards, and data strategies to meet our evolving user needs.
- Mentor and guide our software engineers to ensure seamless system integration across all projects.
Must-haves
- A Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus one year of relevant experience. Alternatively, we accept a Bachelor’s degree combined with four additional years of experience in software architecture or engineering.
- Proficiency in designing high-load computer systems and architecting data-intensive applications.
- Experience building asynchronous systems that feature high fault tolerance and extendable domain models.
- Practical knowledge of implementing actuarial models within complex systems.
- Ability to create user interfaces using Virtual UI rendering and Micro Frontend concepts.
- Strong skills in designing fault-tolerant applications using Spring Boot and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in performance tuning for RabbitMQ and Kafka, as well as optimizing memory and performance for SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Deep understanding of AWS security and system design.
- Fluency in English and the ability to pass a standard background check.
Benefits
The salary for this position is $181,650.
- This is a full-time, remote position that allows you to work from anywhere in the United States.
