Role at a glance
This is a full-time, senior-level position based on-site in the United States. You will be the primary technical lead for our composite material strategy, overseeing everything from initial design concepts to final structural implementation.
Your impact
- Develop and refine innovative fabrication methods, including advanced layup techniques and resin infusion, to solve complex structural challenges.
- Define precise lamination schedules and evaluate composite designs to ensure maximum structural integrity and performance.
- Establish a material review board and collaborate across quality and tooling teams to set high standards for production and engineering transfers.
What you'll need
We are looking for someone who combines deep technical expertise with a hands-on approach to engineering. You should be fluent in English and possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in mechanical, structural, aerospace, or chemical engineering with a focus on composite systems.
- Strong proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and CAD tools, alongside experience with simulation software like Fibersim or ANSYS.
- A proven track record of managing the full product development lifecycle, from concept to testing.
- Experience in aerospace or maritime sectors is highly valued, as is holding certifications such as ASNT or ACP.
- The ability to travel as needed to coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
