As we continue our streak as one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., we are looking for a Compliance Manager to join our remote team and help us maintain our high standards for security and privacy.
Responsibilities
- Design and enforce policies that ensure our organization meets privacy and industry regulations, protecting sensitive data.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and create strategies to mitigate potential threats.
- Maintain a compliance roadmap that keeps us aligned with standards like PCI, SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA.
- Lead compliance training programs to foster a culture of security awareness across the company.
- Manage third-party vendor relationships by conducting due diligence and monitoring their ongoing compliance.
- Collaborate with our Information Security leadership to investigate and respond to compliance incidents.
- Perform Privacy Impact Assessments for new projects and integrate privacy considerations into our development lifecycle.
- Oversee data governance frameworks, including classification, retention, and access controls.
- Coordinate internal and external security audits and implement necessary remediation measures.
Must-haves
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a compliance-focused role, ideally within the financial or SaaS industry.
- Solid understanding of compliance standards, principles, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and develop comprehensive policies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
- Experience working with security technologies such as SIEM, DLP, encryption, and access controls.
- Fluency in English.

- An advanced degree or professional certifications such as CIPP, CISSP, or CISA.

The base pay range for this position is $115,000 to $135,000 USD annually.
