We are looking for a Senior Compliance Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. Trackonomy is a unicorn startup backed by top-tier investors like Kleiner Perkins and 8VC, focused on building the operating system for the connected world. We specialize in creating a network of interconnected objects that can think and interact in real-time, providing critical solutions for industries ranging from healthcare and utilities to logistics. As we continue our hyper-growth journey in Silicon Valley, we need a dedicated professional to help us navigate the complex regulatory landscapes that allow our life-saving technology to reach the global market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive certification strategies for new products to ensure we meet all global regulatory standards.
- Manage the end-to-end product certification process by coordinating with cross-functional teams and third-party testing laboratories to hit key milestones.
- Perform rigorous risk analysis and maintain thorough documentation to identify and mitigate compliance challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in compliance, with a strong technical background in safety, wireless, and EMC certifications for complex hardware.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements and approval processes for wireless technologies like WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and LTE.
- A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is preferred, along with proficiency in using Microsoft and Google Suite tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively across various internal departments.
- Proven capability to interpret reference standards and translate them into actionable product requirements to drive successful certifications.
What we offer
The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $250,000. In addition to the base salary, this role includes bonuses and Pre-IPO equity.
