The opportunity

We are looking for a motivated student to join our People team as a Compensation & Benefits Intern. This is an on-site role based in Belgium, designed for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in the business world. You will work closely with our specialists to support the backbone of our operations, helping us maintain the high standards that keep our international team thriving. This internship is a fantastic way to start your career within a fast-paced, growing Fintech environment.

A day in the life

• You will collaborate with our Compensation and Benefits Specialist to develop and implement programs, assist with payroll processes across Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and the UK, and ensure our HR systems and policies remain accurate through regular audits.
• You will play an active role in our People and Culture initiatives by supporting the onboarding of new hires, maintaining confidential personnel records, and helping organize social events that bring our team together.
• You will handle essential office management tasks, such as managing equipment inventory, coordinating meeting logistics for leadership, and ensuring our workspace remains a productive and well-stocked environment for everyone.

Who you are

You are a student with a genuine passion for payroll and a sharp eye for detail. We are looking for someone with a tenacious, energetic, and positive attitude who is hungry to learn and grow alongside our team. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• You are currently a student and can commit to an internship period of at least 12 weeks.
• You possess excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• You hold a valid driver's license.
• You are highly motivated, organized, and comfortable handling confidential information with integrity.
