The opportunity
We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Director to join our team in a hybrid capacity. In this role, you will transform our global rewards strategy into a competitive advantage that helps us attract and retain top talent as we scale. Reporting directly to our Chief People Officer, you will lead a growing team to harmonize our compensation and benefits frameworks across eight European markets. As we evolve from a payment institution into a bank, your work will provide leadership with the data-driven insights necessary to make strategic decisions that support our rapid growth.
A day in the life
- Develop and communicate a global reward strategy that balances internal equity, market competitiveness, and local compliance across France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, and Portugal.
- Design and implement our Pay Transparency program, including the necessary data infrastructure and employee education to meet 2026 EU compliance standards.
- Oversee compensation cycles in partnership with the Finance team, managing salary and bonus reviews while utilizing Workday to streamline our internal processes.
Who you are
You are an experienced leader with a strong background in regulated industries, specifically within banking or financial services. You understand the complexities of multi-country compensation and have a proven track record of designing job architecture across various European markets. You are comfortable influencing C-level executives and possess the analytical skills to build compensation functions that rely on systematic, data-driven decision-making. Proficiency in English is required, and you should be prepared to lead a team through significant organizational transformation.
