What is this role?
We are looking for a Community Events Manager to join us on a full-time basis. This is a mid-level position designed for someone who thrives in a hybrid work environment. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our in-person event strategy, focusing on creating meaningful, user-driven experiences that strengthen our ecosystem and amplify the voices of our most dedicated users.
What will you do?
- Take ownership of the planning and execution of community-focused events, including regional workshops, hackathons, and community-led meetups.
- Recruit, train, and support a network of local event organizers and ambassadors, providing them with the resources and confidence to host events independently.
- Collaborate across marketing, product, and partnership teams to ensure that our events align with broader business goals and product launches.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have 3 to 4 years of experience in event management, field marketing, or community advocacy, ideally within the SaaS or tech industry. You are a detail-oriented professional with strong project management skills who remains flexible when challenges arise. You should be fluent in English and comfortable acting as the face of Make in local markets, which will occasionally involve traveling to support anchor events.
