We are looking for a dedicated Community Director to lead our team in providing essential data, tools, and strategic support to the Democratic ecosystem, including state parties and political campaigns. In this remote, full-time role, you will serve as a key leader within our technology division, ensuring our partners have the resources they need to succeed while fostering strong relationships across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and mentor a team of Community Analysts, setting a clear vision for the team's growth and individual professional development.
- Deliver high-quality user support by setting standards for our ticketing systems and ensuring our tools effectively meet user needs.
- Design and implement comprehensive training programs and curricula to upskill data teams across the country.
- Act as a bridge between our users and our product teams, using insights from the field to influence future product development.
- Cultivate and maintain deep partnerships with state parties, sister committees, and other key political organizations.
- Collaborate across technical and non-technical departments to improve workflows and maintain high standards of service.
Must-haves
- Proven experience in a management role, with the ability to adapt your leadership style to diverse team strengths.
- Deep familiarity with political data and technology tools, such as SQL, BigQuery, Data Studio, and VAN.
- A background in political campaigns or political technology.
- Strong experience in an externally-facing position where you served as a primary point of contact for users or customers.
- Excellent communication skills, specifically the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
- A commitment to Democratic values and a desire to contribute to the success of the party.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. green card holder due to federal campaign finance regulations.
