What you bring
We are looking for a mid-level Communications Test Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United Kingdom. In this role, you will take ownership of the integration and verification of space-communication systems, working closely with both digital and analogue hardware. Your focus will be on developing robust test software and managing setups for modem and link verification at both the baseband and RF levels. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and maintaining comprehensive measurement and test solutions for link and modem validation.
- Performing detailed calibration and metrology analysis, including statistical error budgets and confidence levels.
- Developing modular, reusable software using Python to support various testing setups and troubleshooting link-performance issues.

You should have a solid grasp of RF principles and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. We require a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics. You must have at least two years of professional experience with RF measurement and instrumentation, as well as two years of programming experience using Python. Proficiency in English is required. We also value experience with test automation, collaborative software design tools like GIT, and familiarity with both Linux and Windows operating systems.
What we offer
We believe in fostering a culture of excellence and providing our team with the resources they need to succeed.
