At Figma, we are on a mission to make design accessible to everyone. Born on the web, our platform helps product teams brainstorm, design, and build better products together. We are looking for a Senior Communications Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role based in either Singapore or Tokyo, Japan. As a creative self-starter, you will lead our PR strategy and execution across the JAPAC region, helping us tell our story to a global audience.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy for the JAPAC region, covering product, corporate, talent, and consumer initiatives.
Collaborate with local marketing, sales, and support teams to identify unique trends and breakthrough stories that differentiate our brand.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key reporters and media outlets across the region to secure high-impact placements.

Requirements

At least 8 years of in-house experience at fast-growing companies, with a proven track record of building PR programs from the ground up.
Exceptional storytelling skills and a creative approach to PR that avoids standard, repetitive tactics.
Comfortable navigating fast-paced environments where you must define processes and solve problems independently.
Fluency in English and Japanese is highly preferred, as you will be supporting our customer base in Japan.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners and external agencies.
