At Figma, we are on a mission to make design accessible to everyone. Born on the web, our platform helps product teams brainstorm, design, and build better products together, and we are looking for a Senior Communications Designer to help us elevate how we tell our story.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design communications that move beyond standard corporate formats to create engaging, uniquely Figma experiences.
- Collaborate directly with executive leadership to craft presentations, reports, and storytelling materials for diverse audiences.
- Experiment with various mediums, including motion and interactive formats, to share information in fresh and compelling ways.
- Develop scalable design systems and templates that maintain our high standards for quality and craft.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency across all communication touchpoints.
- Distill complex ideas into simple, visually engaging narratives for high-visibility announcements and internal initiatives.
- Champion our brand voice through design, ensuring consistency across all communication efforts.
Must-haves
- A robust portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand, communication, or visual design.
- Proven experience bringing corporate communications to life in unique, impactful ways.
- A sharp eye for typography, layout, and the art of visual storytelling.
- Comfort working across a variety of mediums, ranging from static assets to interactive and motion design.
- The ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging visuals.
- Experience working closely with leadership teams and cross-functional partners.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Background in designing for executive communications or internal storytelling.
- Familiarity with motion design or interactive media.
- Experience in editorial, presentation, or information design.
Benefits
The annual base salary range for this role in our San Francisco and New York hubs is $122,000 to $260,000 USD. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
