Offchain Labs is seeking a dynamic and experienced Communications and PR Manager to join our team and lead our communications strategy. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a proven track record in crafting compelling narratives, managing external PR teams, media relations, and developing comprehensive PR strategies. The candidate will develop thought leadership initiatives, secure speaking opportunities at industry conferences, and organize executive communications to ensure our leadership team is well-briefed for opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate our brand's vision and values across various platforms and to diverse audiences.

What you'll do:

Craft and execute comprehensive PR and communication strategies aligning with our business objectives, encompassing media relations, executive thought leadership, industry event participation, and content creation.

Oversee external PR agencies and partners, ensuring goal alignment and achievement.

Establish and nurture robust relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers in the blockchain and crypto sectors.

Generate compelling content across diverse communication channels, including social media, blogs, press releases, and marketing materials.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistent brand messaging across all platforms.

Spearhead crisis communications and proactively address potential reputational risks.

Offer strategic counsel to executives and key stakeholders for effective media and public communications.

Monitor, analyze, and optimize PR and communication metrics to ensure ongoing success.

What you'll need:

A seasoned professional with 7+ years in PR and communications, possessing in-depth knowledge of the blockchain and crypto landscape.

An exceptional communicator with outstanding written and verbal skills, capable of producing engaging content for various channels.

A media relations expert with a strong network in the blockchain and crypto industry.

Experienced in managing crisis communications and safeguarding organizational reputation.

Proven strategist with a track record of developing and implementing successful PR and communication initiatives that drive business goals.

A collaborative team player able to work across functions and provide guidance to executives and key stakeholders.

Analytical thinker skilled in tracking and interpreting PR and communication metrics to measure and improve performance.

Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
