What is this role?
We are looking for a Commercial Director to join us on a full-time basis. This is a senior, high-impact position for someone who wants to help build our sales function from the ground up rather than just managing an existing machine. You will be based in the United Kingdom and will work in a hybrid capacity, collaborating closely with our founders to shape our future.
What will you do?
- Take full ownership of the sales cycle, from initial outbound efforts to closing multi-year SaaS contracts with regulated lenders.
- Develop our go-to-market strategy, including defining our ideal customer profile, refining our messaging, and establishing our pricing models.
- Build the operational foundation for our sales team by setting up CRM systems, forecasting processes, and reporting structures.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in enterprise SaaS sales, particularly within the fintech or regulated sectors. We are looking for someone who is comfortable navigating 6 to 9 month sales cycles and has a proven track record of closing complex deals with multiple stakeholders. You should be a strategic thinker with a high level of ownership and excellent communication skills in English. Experience selling into UK banks or financial institutions is essential, and having a background in an early-stage startup environment will be a significant advantage.
