The role
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Account Executive to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates anywhere. In this role, you will focus exclusively on selling our Next Gen Dremio Cloud SaaS solution to commercial customers with fewer than 4,000 employees. You will own the entire sales cycle, from initial pipeline creation to final closure, and you will be expected to operate with significant discipline and urgency.
Core responsibilities
- Drive consistent pipeline generation through proactive outbound prospecting, targeted account outreach, and partner-led initiatives.
- Manage the full sales process, including conducting discovery, delivering product demonstrations, and navigating complex deal cycles to closure.
- Act as a trusted advisor to your customers by understanding their IT roadmaps and aligning our solutions to their specific business needs.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in pipeline-driven sales and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We require the following qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in SaaS sales, specifically in roles where you were responsible for managing and closing your own deals.
- A demonstrated track record of closing SaaS deals ranging from $75K to $300K in ARR and managing quotas of $800K or higher.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and other modern CRM tools to maintain pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executive-level stakeholders.
- A bachelor’s degree is required for this position.
- Experience with cloud-native SaaS models or familiarity with data platforms, analytics, and open-source ecosystems is highly preferred.
