What you bring
We are seeking a Senior CNC Programmer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This role is essential for our work in the aerospace and defense manufacturing sectors, where you will utilize your skills in Solidworks and Microsoft Excel to ensure precision and excellence. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Writing and editing complex three, four, and five-axis programs for CNC mills, as well as developing programs for CNC lathes.
- Designing necessary fixturing, which includes creating models and detailed drawings for components.
- Collaborating with machine operators and management to troubleshoot machining issues and provide guidance on the most effective practices.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position is a self-motivated problem solver who is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. You must have at least five years of experience as a programmer and five years of experience as a machinist. We require proficiency in MasterCam, and familiarity with Solidworks is considered a significant advantage. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within the requirements of AS9100 and ISO9001 standards. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and you must be fluent in English.
