What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis within the United States. In this role, you will be a key player in managing our cloud-based services and ensuring our infrastructure remains robust, scalable, and efficient. Your expertise in cloud computing, automation, and infrastructure-as-code will be vital as we continue to evolve our technical environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with Cloud Architects to design, implement, and maintain high-availability cloud infrastructure.
• Developing and managing complex hybrid cloud environments that integrate seamlessly with our on-premises systems.
• Implementing advanced automation and orchestration techniques to streamline provisioning and improve overall service recoverability.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should have a strong background in cloud computing with 4 to 6 years of progressive experience. We are looking for someone who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or possesses equivalent professional experience. You should be highly proficient in Python or PowerShell and have hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CloudFormation. A deep understanding of AWS or Azure is essential, and relevant cloud certifications are highly preferred. Beyond your technical skills, you should be a strong communicator capable of explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. We value candidates who are proactive problem solvers, comfortable with multi-tier architectures, and ready to participate in an on-call support rotation.
