We are looking for a Cloud Systems Engineer to join our production operations team on a full-time, remote basis. As a leading customer data platform, mParticle helps hundreds of global brands turn data into actionable insights through our end-to-end streaming architecture. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our follow-the-sun global team, specifically working the night shift from 7:00 pm to 3:00 am local time. Please note that all resumes must be submitted in English for consideration.

Responsibilities

Ensure the high availability and performance of our 24/7 production environment, which includes managing networks, servers, and databases.
Lead incident management efforts by identifying root causes for critical issues, generating detailed reports, and maintaining clear communication during service outages.
Drive continuous improvement of our platform by developing long-term scaling strategies, enhancing system visibility through advanced monitoring, and tracking key performance indicators for service uptime.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in 24/7 production operations and 2 years of dedicated Linux server administration.
Strong technical proficiency with AWS services, including EC2, ECS, and S3, as well as experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
Intermediate skills in SQL and scripting languages like Bash or Python.
A degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Excellent verbal communication skills in English and the ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues.
