About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Systems Administrator to join us on a full-time basis. In this position, you will serve as a key member of our operations team, handling everything from Tier 1 to Tier 3 tenant requests. Your work will be instrumental in maintaining our operational environments, managing VPC provisioning, and ensuring that our systems remain secure and accessible for our users.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor operational environments to ensure consistent network availability and security.
- Provision tenant VPCs and configure roles while managing access requests.
- Address and escalate service requests as needed to maintain high performance standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in systems administration and a commitment to secure information management. Please note that this position requires a TS (SCI Eligible) clearance and the ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting operations and maintenance for secure information management systems.
- At least 3 years of experience working with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces.
- At least 1 year of experience with Amazon Web Services and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- At least 1 year of experience with Windows operating systems and Active Directory.
- At least 1 year of experience using scripting languages such as Bash, Ansible, or YAML.
- A valid DoD IAT Level II Certification, such as CompTIA Security+.
Location
This role is based on-site in Charlottesville, VA.
