Responsibilities:

• We are looking for Cloud Solutions Architect with a proven track record in designing and implementing scalable and supportable cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will be adept at working independently or leading a team, demonstrating expertise in both technical aspects and team management. 
• As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the long-term engineering strategy, collaborating with senior technical staff, and working closely with diverse teams across various projects. Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes, you will contribute to building high-performing tech teams that support and scale our company. 
• The role requires not only technical proficiency but also excellent communication and leadership skills. You will bridge the gap between technical details and broader project discussions, ensuring alignment and consistency across engineering disciplines. 
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders, senior technical staff, and various engineering teams. 
• Collaborate on planning and executing long-term engineering strategy. 
• Assist in building and growing high-performing tech teams that support and scale our company. 
• Provide structured coordination and ad hoc problem-solving. 
• Drive continuous improvement in the quality, quantity, and value of engineering output. 
• Proactively seek and implement technical solutions to improve delivery speed and quality. 
• Set and maintain high standards for information security, testing, code quality, and reviews. 
• Identify skills gaps and provide mentorship and coaching to improve individual and team performance. 
• Assist in building OKRs and Engineering KPIs. 
• Give regular and clear feedback on individual and team performance. 
• Generate and implement process improvements, especially in cross-team processes. 

About you

The ideal candidate will have a track-record in delivering results in a fast-moving business and hence be comfortable with change and uncertainty. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role.

Must Have

• Work hands-on when required, setting high standards and leading by example for other engineers and team members. 
• Report directly to senior technical staff, contributing to the planning and execution of the long-term engineering strategy. 
• Build and nurture high-performing tech teams through recruitment and internal growth, supporting the company's scalability. 
• Provide structured coordination and ad hoc problem-solving, collaborating effectively with stakeholders, delivery managers, product teams, and engineers. 
• Drive continuous improvement in the quality, quantity, and value of engineering output. 
• Proactively seek and implement technical solutions to enhance delivery speed and quality. 
• Set and maintain high standards for information security, testing, code quality, and reviews. 
• Identify skills gaps and provide mentorship and coaching to improve individual and team performance. 
• Assist in defining and implementing OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and Engineering KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). 
• Give regular and clear feedback on individual and team performance. 
• Contribute to the generation and implementation of process improvements, particularly in cross-team processes. 

• Proficient in designing scalable and supportable cloud-native solutions. 
• An expert in at least one high-level programming language. 
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and employing lean development approaches to learn quickly and pivot when necessary. 
• Product-focused with a pragmatic approach to engineering, prioritizing the delivery of value to customers and stakeholders. 
• Inquisitive and curious, consistently asking insightful questions. 
• Constantly learning, problem-solving, and pushing technical boundaries. 
• Experienced across a broad scope of cloud technologies. 
• A collaborative team player who communicates effectively and improves the quality of multiple teams.
