The role
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Site Reliability Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be instrumental in launching our first generation of cloud-based service offerings, helping us build a secure and highly available infrastructure that serves as the foundation for our data-driven products.
Core responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and development teams to understand their service requirements and lead infrastructure projects that are both operationally sustainable and secure.
- Partner with engineers to review services, establish service level objectives, and provide guidance throughout the productization process.
- Create automation and standardized solutions that allow engineers to use cloud infrastructure effectively while maintaining high standards for reliability and security.
Skills and experience
We are looking for candidates who possess strong software engineering skills and a belief that automation is the primary tool for success in site reliability engineering. You should have experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Cloud security and general security practices.
- Scaling infrastructure services to meet specific service-level requirements.
- Leading horizontal projects that span multiple teams or an entire organization.
Additionally, you should be comfortable joining our on-call rotation starting in 2024. Proficiency in English is required for this role.
