The role

We are seeking a Cloud Security Lead to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position designed for a professional with a strong background in site reliability engineering and a security-first mindset. You will work within a small, expert Information Security team to guide our security agenda and collaborate across the entire organization. This role is offered as a hybrid position, requiring you to be based in the United States.

Core responsibilities

• Design and manage robust security architectures, utilizing Zero-Trust principles and Infrastructure as Code to deploy protections at scale.
• Integrate security practices directly into our CI/CD pipelines to ensure that data protection, encryption, and tokenization are baked into our infrastructure from the start.
• Lead incident response efforts, conduct regular security assessments for compliance, and serve as a security advocate who mentors development teams on best practices.

Skills and experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in information security, including 2 years specifically in cloud engineering security and infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in managing highly distributed, scalable systems within cloud environments.
• Strong technical proficiency with Kubernetes, containerization, and ELK stacks.
• Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• The ability to clearly communicate complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Compensation and benefits

The target annual salary for this position is $145,000 to $165,000, plus a discretionary bonus opportunity. We support our team members with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
