We are Level AI, a Series B startup based in Mountain View that is transforming the Voice AI landscape. Our team is backed by prominent venture capitalists and industry experts, and we are dedicated to improving the sales experience for businesses through advanced speech AI, NLP, and information retrieval. We are looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. You will collaborate with talented professionals who have backgrounds at major technology firms, working on cutting-edge systems that shape the future of enterprise AI.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive strategy to manage audits, compliance checks, and external assessments, including those related to ISO 27001, SOX, and other regulatory standards.
- Author, maintain, and promote security policies, standards, and guidelines while ensuring that employees and contractors receive appropriate training on risk management.
- Partner with our product and IT architecture teams to ensure that security protocols are integrated into our enterprise architecture and coordinate security projects across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in information security and risk management, with 4 or more years specifically focused on IT security guidelines like SOX or PCI-DSS.
- Strong technical background in Unix environments and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes security, and container security.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with security assessment tools, network security architecture, and landing zones.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, HIPAA, or ISO, along with a proven track record of implementing ISO 27001.
- A deep passion for learning and a commitment to selecting the most effective tools for complex engineering challenges.
