Are you ready to help protect the systems that support better patient care for millions of people? At Fullscript, we build technology that connects practitioners and patients through smarter, more human tools, and we’re looking for someone who wants their technical work to make a real difference in healthcare.
What you bring
We’re hiring a Cloud Security Engineer on a full-time basis. In this senior role, you’ll work remotely from anywhere to strengthen security across our AWS and Google Cloud environments. You’ll use tools like Terraform, Python, and Go to build secure infrastructure, manage identity and access, and embed protection into our development workflows. Your main responsibilities will include designing and implementing cloud security controls, creating reusable Terraform modules and policy-as-code guardrails, and operating CSPM/CNAPP tooling to find and fix misconfigurations. This position is open to candidates located anywhere.
- Design and implement cloud security controls across AWS and Google Cloud, including multi-account architecture, network segmentation, data protection, and secure-by-default infrastructure patterns.
- Build reusable Terraform modules, reference architectures, policy-as-code guardrails, and self-service tooling that make secure implementation easier for engineering teams.
- Operate and tune CSPM/CNAPP tooling to identify misconfigurations, exposures, toxic combinations, and coverage gaps across Fullscript’s cloud environments.
Requirements
You bring at least four years of security engineering experience, including two years focused on cloud security in AWS or Google Cloud. You have a strong grasp of cloud-native attack paths, IAM risks, network controls, data protection, key management, secrets management, and workload identity. You’re comfortable writing code in Python, Go, or a similar language to automate security workflows, and you know how to integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines without slowing teams down. You also have working knowledge of at least one compliance framework such as SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI-DSS, or ISO 27001, and you can translate those requirements into practical technical controls. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential, as you’ll work closely with engineering, security, and product teams to help others build securely. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated by the opportunity to support better patient outcomes through their work.
What we offer
The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000 CAD.
