<title>About the role</title>

In this role, the engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure. Your primary tasks will include implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our organization's data and systems in the cloud. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enforce security policies and respond to security incidents, support engineers and other teams in Bolt with cloud security best practices.

• <point>Collaborating with fellow engineers and colleagues as a cloud security expert and advisor to support security requirements for cloud services.</point>
• <point>Managing Bolt’s cloud security posture.</point>
• <point>Managing AWS accounts through infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).</point>
• <point>Enhancing Bolt’s existing logging, monitoring, and alerting for the cloud environments.</point>
• <point>Supporting in managing the risks within Bolt’s cloud environments.</point>
• <point>Assisting in detecting, preventing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations across Bolt’s cloud environments.</point>
• <point>Collaborating with the cloud engineering team to help them further secure Bolt’s cloud environments.</point>
• <point>Implementing a data loss prevention solution across all tooling in use to help protect Bolt’s proprietary data.</point>
• <point>Assisting in detecting, preventing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations across Bolt’s cloud environments.</point>
• <point>Keeping yourself up-to-date with the latest news in the cloud security world.</point>

• <point>You are experienced in the Cloud Security scope, with strong previous professional experience in the field.</point>
• <point>You have an in-depth knowledge of AWS Security.</point>
• <point>You have solid Terraform skills.</point>
• <point>You preferably have AWS WAF, CloudFlare WAF Management knowledge.</point>
• <point>You may have developed knowledge in GCP and Elastic Security.</point>
• <point>You are a team player, with great communication skills, who works well with others in the team setting and with the rest of the organization</point>
