The role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in India. This is a high-impact position for an experienced professional who is ready to take ownership of our cloud security posture. You will play a vital role in protecting our infrastructure while enabling our engineers to innovate securely within a fast-paced, institutional-grade environment.

Core responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive cloud security frameworks across our environments, ensuring all systems are built on secure, scalable, and compliant architectures.
• Lead proactive security monitoring and incident response efforts, conducting thorough post-event analyses to continuously harden our defenses against emerging threats.
• Drive automation and infrastructure as code initiatives by integrating security measures directly into our CI/CD pipelines and utilizing tools like Terraform to maintain a secure, repeatable deployment process.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset. We require the following qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in cloud security, with demonstrated expertise in managing secure environments on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Deep knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) systems and authentication protocols.
• Proven ability to ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, GDPR, and PCI DSS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to cross-functional teams.
