The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis within the United States. Reporting directly to our Chief Information Security Officer, you will serve as a foundational contributor to our security program. Your primary purpose is to engineer robust technology that ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our corporate systems and cloud-based products. This role offers you the chance to work closely with senior leadership while shaping the security landscape of a company that is experiencing consistent, strong growth.

A day in the life

• You will lead initiatives to engineer security toolsets that maximize risk reduction across our cloud environments, endpoints, and SaaS-based products.
• You will proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within our infrastructure, internal tools, and product offerings.
• You will manage identity security across multiple cloud platforms and automate technical controls to ensure we meet rigorous third-party compliance standards.

Who you are

You are a detail-oriented professional who thrives on hands-on engineering and has a clear vision for enterprise security. You balance strong opinions with the flexibility to collaborate effectively with your peers. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

• At least 5 years of experience securing solutions within major cloud providers like AWS or Azure.
• Proven ability to research, build, and deploy security tools for network, perimeter, and endpoint protection.
• Fluency in Python or similar scripting languages to drive automation.
• Experience leading complex security projects and initiatives.
• Familiarity with standard security toolsets, including EDR, vulnerability scanners, and web application firewalls.
• Proficiency in English.

Extra credit: We value candidates who have experience with Zero-Trust architectures, OWASP standards, DevSecOps, and the fast-paced nature of a startup environment.
