Cloud Platform Engineer at Unlimit

With a dedicated team of over 500 employees across 16 international offices, we provide a comprehensive suite of financial services, ranging from payment processing to banking as a service. Our mission is to help our customers stay ahead in a rapidly shifting financial landscape by providing them with the stability and tools they need to succeed today and tomorrow. We are currently looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Mexico.

What you'll be doing

• You will design, implement, and maintain our growing network infrastructure, ensuring that our architectures are scalable, highly available, and fully aligned with our business objectives.
• You will manage and secure our network environments by administering VLANs, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems across both our on-premise setups and cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
• You will act as a key technical escalation point for the operations team, troubleshooting complex network issues and working closely with our SRE and DevOps colleagues to transition services from project phases into stable, long-term operations.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in network engineering and a commitment to maintaining secure, high-performance systems. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Solid expertise in cloud networking, specifically within AWS and GCP environments, including hands-on experience with VPC peering, Cloud VPN, and Direct Connect.
• A CCNP certification, with a focus on routing, switching, wireless, and security.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN technologies such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and various Cisco hardware configurations.
• A deep understanding of network security principles, including the ability to perform hardening activities to maintain compliance with standards like ISO27001.
• Proficiency in English to communicate effectively within our global team.
