We are currently looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity. At Signifyd, we operate a sophisticated decision platform that protects e-commerce businesses from fraud, and our engineering team is at the heart of this mission. In this mid-level role, you will help us maintain and automate a vast cloud-based computing environment. You will work alongside a group of highly skilled engineers to ensure our systems remain reliable, secure, and performant while supporting the critical infrastructure that powers our services.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud services in collaboration with cross-functional teams to promote self-service and operational efficiency.
Develop and manage automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code tools to streamline the provisioning and deployment of our services.
Implement and oversee Kubernetes clusters to handle container orchestration, monitoring, and scaling across our cloud environments.

Requirements

Proven experience working with major cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
Practical knowledge of container technologies, specifically Kubernetes and ECS.
Strong software development skills in high-level languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript, combined with a solid understanding of DevOps practices.
Familiarity with database management using tools like MySQL, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
A pragmatic approach to identifying reliability risks and troubleshooting complex system failures.
