We are currently looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity. At Signifyd, we operate a sophisticated decision platform that protects e-commerce businesses from fraud, and our engineering team is at the heart of this mission. In this mid-level role, you will help us maintain and automate a vast cloud-based computing environment. You will work alongside a group of highly skilled engineers to ensure our systems remain reliable, secure, and performant while supporting the critical infrastructure that powers our services.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud services in collaboration with cross-functional teams to promote self-service and operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code tools to streamline the provisioning and deployment of our services.
- Implement and oversee Kubernetes clusters to handle container orchestration, monitoring, and scaling across our cloud environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with major cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Practical knowledge of container technologies, specifically Kubernetes and ECS.
- Strong software development skills in high-level languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript, combined with a solid understanding of DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with database management using tools like MySQL, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- A pragmatic approach to identifying reliability risks and troubleshooting complex system failures.
