We are currently transforming our operations to be entirely tech-first and merchant-obsessed, and we are looking for someone to join our dedicated Cloud Platform team of four to help us build the future of our infrastructure.

What you bring

As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer working in a full-time capacity, you will play a vital role in our ongoing evolution. Based in the United Kingdom, you will focus on enhancing our developer experience while ensuring our systems remain scalable and highly efficient. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing our new platform architecture within Google Cloud Platform.
• Driving improvements in monitoring, observability, and security across our infrastructure.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to promote self-service capabilities and innovative DevOps practices.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about creating seamless user experiences and enjoys solving complex problems through automation. You should have a strong background in SRE or DevOps environments and possess deep technical expertise in Infrastructure as Code, specifically using Terraform. Proficiency in English is required, as is the ability to use data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. We value candidates who advocate for industry best practices, such as those outlined in DORA and Accelerate reports. Our interview process consists of a screening call with our recruiter, a phone interview with the hiring manager, and a final technical discussion with our engineering team.
