Cloud Platform Architect at Signifyd

We are looking for a visionary Cloud Platform Architect to join our team and help shape the future of our infrastructure. At Signifyd, we specialize in real-time fraud protection for e-commerce, and our platform is essential to the security and success of our global clients. As we continue to grow, we need a leader who can help us scale our systems to meet the demands of massive data processing and complex decisioning. This is a remote, full-time executive role where you will work with talented engineers and data scientists to build the next generation of our cloud environment.

What you'll be doing

• You will modernize our cloud platform to prioritize security, cost-efficiency, and operational excellence while supporting our R&D group.
• You will design and deliver a technology roadmap that advances our cloud performance, directly impacting our ability to provide high-scale, low-latency fraud prevention.
• You will collaborate with architects, software engineers, and data scientists to build innovative solutions for big data processing and infrastructure automation.

What you'll bring

We are looking for someone with 10 to 15+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, including at least five years in an architect or lead capacity. You should be comfortable managing large-scale environments with massive data storage and computing costs. Your technical toolkit should include:

• Deep expertise in AWS, GCP, and Azure, along with a strong grasp of networking and security concepts.
• Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration, specifically Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with data technologies like Apache Spark and Databricks.
• A strong background in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to lead strategic initiatives and mentor fellow engineers.

What you'll get
