At Circadia Health, we are transforming the landscape of medical technology as the creators of the world's first FDA-cleared contactless remote patient monitoring system. Our platform leverages advanced AI to detect critical medical events like falls, pneumonia, and heart failure, currently supporting over 20,000 lives every day. As we scale toward monitoring 100,000 patients in the coming years, we are looking for a dedicated Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in the United Kingdom. If you are passionate about building reliable, life-saving technology, we would love to have you help us manage the largest biobank of continuous vital signs data in the world.
What you'll be doing
- You will design, deploy, and maintain highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant infrastructure on AWS to support our mission-critical healthcare applications.
- You will take ownership of our data architecture, managing databases like MySQL and MongoDB while using Terraform to automate and streamline our cloud environment.
- You will build robust instrumentation and monitoring systems using Prometheus and Grafana to ensure the health of our services and maintain high reliability for our clinical users.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should be a highly organized professional with a deep understanding of cloud engineering and a commitment to high-quality code. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Advanced technical expertise in AWS services and infrastructure management.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++, along with experience managing Apache Kafka and ECS clusters.
- A detail-oriented mindset, as you will be responsible for the security and reliability of sensitive medical data.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- A growth-oriented approach, where you learn from challenges and continuously seek to improve our systems.
- Fluency in English is required to collaborate effectively with our team.
