We are currently seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity, with the ability to work from the Netherlands.

Key outcomes

• Build, manage, and deploy cloud-native infrastructure that supports our SaaS platform.
• Design robust observability frameworks using DataDog, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure proactive monitoring and high system performance.
• Lead infrastructure automation efforts by utilizing Terraform to streamline operations and improve scalability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and debug resilient cloud-native applications within a microservices architecture.
• Manage incident response cycles, including performing detailed root-cause analysis and participating in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Partner with our DevOps team to optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient code deployment and reliable rollbacks.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in maintaining and operating cloud services, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven expertise in incident resolution and conducting thorough root-cause analysis.
• Strong technical proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools, specifically Kubernetes and Docker.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform.
• Deep familiarity with monitoring tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling systems within a microservices environment.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Understanding of modern development methodologies, including TDD, BDD, and hexagonal architecture.
• Solid grasp of Linux fundamentals, covering process scheduling, signals, and security authentication.
• Experience working with message brokers like RabbitMQ.
• Practical knowledge of web application development using Python or Ruby.
