Cloud Engineering Manager at Gogolook

Gogolook is a pioneering TrustTech company established in 2012 that focuses on building an AI-driven global anti-fraud network. As a founding member of the Global Anti-Scam Alliance and a publicly listed company on the Taiwan Innovation Board, we create meaningful SaaS and fintech solutions that protect users across East and Southeast Asia. We are looking for a Cloud Engineering Manager based in Taiwan to lead a team of 4 to 5 engineers in developing our Identity Suite and other innovative anti-scam products.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate your team to ensure professional growth while maintaining high standards for project quality and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with product managers to architect scalable, stable, and efficient cloud solutions.
• Manage the design and implementation of cloud-based functionalities, ensuring they meet strict compliance standards.
• Maintain strong team cohesion and clear communication within a hybrid work environment.
• Stay at the forefront of cloud technology trends to guide our technical roadmap.
• Direct the team during production emergencies to ensure high system availability and quick resolution of issues.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including QA, data analysis, and business development, to ensure project success.

Must-haves

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in cloud software development and architecture, including 2 years of management experience.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services and backend development using Golang and Python.
• Hands-on experience with serverless architectures, microservices, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and foster a collaborative culture.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a hybrid work setting.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to solve complex problems under pressure.
• Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Proven experience in anti-scam technology, specifically in developing solutions for identifying fraud in messaging, web pages, or virtual currencies.
