In July 2023, TrustTech provider Gogolook completed its IPO listing on the Taiwan Innovation Board (TIB) of the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE), under the ticker number 6902.

We seek an exceptional Cloud Engineering Manager with outstanding leadership and technical expertise. You will lead an R&D team of 4~5 engineers to develop and maintain high-quality and innovative KYC and anti-scam SaaS products/projects — Identity Suite.

This role requires outstanding technical leadership and excellent communication skills to coach the team with backend and data pipeline ETL-related development tasks. We aim to collectively deliver business services that meet compliance and uphold a high Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Responsibilities

Leadership and Management: Guide, coach, and motivate team members, ensuring continuous technical and professional growth. Engage in daily team activities, optimizing process efficiency and achieving schedule and quality standards. Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and communicate effectively across departments and in a remote work environment.

Technical Planning: Collaborate with the engineering team and product project managers to create technical plans for cloud-related functionalities, ensuring scalability, stability, and efficiency of solutions.

Solution Design: Participate in architecting and designing cloud-related functionalities to ensure compliance and best practices.

Remote Team Management: In a remote work environment, communicate effectively with team members to ensure accurate transmission of information and instructions and maintain cooperation and cohesion within the remote team.

Technical Orientation: Stay updated with the latest cloud technology trends and best practices and apply this knowledge in project development.

Emergency Issue Management: Lead the team in managing faults and emergencies in the production environment, ensuring timely problem resolution and high system availability.

Cross Teams Collaboration: Actively cooperate with the product team, business development team, QA team, data analysis team, and other related departments, ensuring effective cross-departmental communication and collaboration.

Requirements

Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.

Professional Experience: At least 8 years of experience in cloud-related software development and architecture, with at least 2 years of team management experience. Passionate about enterprise product and technology development and continuously following the latest industry trends.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with AWS cloud platform and services and backend programming languages such as Golang and Python. Experience with serverless, micro-service architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Leadership: Excellent leadership ability, inspiring and guiding teams and promoting collaboration and team cohesion.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and coordination skills can adapt to a remote working environment.

Problem-Solving Ability: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, able to respond quickly and find solutions to reduce business risk.

Professional Attitude: Positive attitude, ownership, high sense of responsibility, and ability to work under pressure. Ability to switch tasks smoothly and adapt to diverse tasks and challenges.

Significant plus

Has experience in anti-scam technology, especially in developing products or solutions that can identify scams related to messages, web pages, and virtual currencies.
