The role

We are hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Professional Services team on a full-time, hybrid basis. In this position you will lead the technical delivery of customer projects, guiding architecture decisions while writing and reviewing production code across multiple cloud-native stacks.

Core responsibilities

• Design, build, and migrate highly scalable cloud applications on AWS, including legacy modernization and new greenfield development.
• Develop and manage backend infrastructure, APIs, and integrations using Python, Node.js, Java, and PHP, while building frontend interfaces and dashboards with Angular, React, and Vue.js.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to create technology roadmaps, contribute to status meetings, and support R&D efforts that validate new service offerings.

Skills and experience

You bring 4–6 years of hands-on experience as a cloud engineer with proven expertise across AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, RDS, Cognito, and Amplify. You are fluent with infrastructure-as-code tools including CloudFormation and Terraform, and you have written production code in several of the following languages and frameworks: Node.js, Python, Angular, React, .NET Core, .NET Framework, and Vue.js.

Additional requirements include a solid grasp of modern application architectures, microservices, containers (Docker and Kubernetes), serverless patterns, and data stores such as DynamoDB and Aurora. You understand cloud concepts-IaaS, PaaS, security, compliance, and business continuity-and you hold or are willing to obtain the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification within 90 days of hire. Strong communication skills, the ability to translate technical complexity into business outcomes, and comfort learning new languages or domains quickly round out the profile.
