Cloud Engineer at CLS-Group

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis in the United Kingdom. At CLS, we serve as the trusted hub of the global FX ecosystem, helping thousands of counterparties make currency transactions safer and more efficient. Trillions of dollars flow through our infrastructure daily, and our work significantly reduces systemic risk while providing essential standardization for the world's most active currencies. Responsibilities

• Take ownership of our cloud-hosted services by prioritizing production stability and promptly addressing service incidents, problems, and technical requests.
• Enhance the reliability and security of our environments by implementing SRE methodologies to improve observability, telemetry, and service level metrics.
• Manage operational risks by documenting environments, conducting regular reviews, and performing disaster recovery tests to ensure our systems remain resilient and secure.

Requirements

• You should have at least three years of experience in infrastructure support, specifically with AWS cloud environments, and hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• We require proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, alongside strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• You must be AWS certified at the Associate level or higher, and experience working within a regulated financial services or banking organization is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills are essential, as you will need to explain complex technical issues to both business stakeholders and technical team members.
