We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Directorate for Digital Services. What you'll be doing

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud architectures while ensuring the security and performance of our mission-critical systems.
• Develop and manage automated deployment pipelines using CI/CD best practices to streamline software delivery.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code principles using Terraform to create repeatable, secure, and efficient cloud environments.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should be a versatile engineer who can jump into projects with minimal context. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure roles such as SRE, systems architecture, or DevSecOps.
• Proven technical proficiency with at least one major cloud provider, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong hands-on experience with Hashicorp Terraform and a deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code.
• Fluency in at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, or Golang.
• Familiarity with Git for version control and experience managing CI/CD pipelines.
• A commitment to DevSecOps standards and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues effectively.
• U.S. Citizenship is required, and you must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
